Position Acer as a thought leader within EdTech

Education technology is a rapidly evolving and growing sector, with a diverse array of companies looking to develop technology that aids both learning and teaching. To stand out in such as noisy marketplace, Acer needed a strong voice that demonstrated it was a leading innovator in the sector.

The goal was to position Acer as a thought leader, not only in the eyes of their business partners and distributors, but most importantly in the eyes of teachers and school IT departments. The campaign was specifically targeted at the schools and school districts within all four Nordic countries (Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland).

Strategy

Data-driven content marketing expertise

Thanks to digitalPR’s deep understanding of technology and the EdTech space, we were able to research and write topical and thought-provoking content designed to inspire education leaders. Acer products and strategies were included throughout the content in a natural way, so as not to appear overly promotional.

With our Pan-Nordic approach, we then localized the text into all four languages and

made sure that the content was tailored to the specific education market in each country. The various articles included an opinion piece about eSports in Schools, and tips and tricks to spice up remote learning in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Finally, using our relationships with top media in the Nordics, we were able to place blogs and opinion pieces in key education-specific outlets, ensuring that the target audience was 100% focused and relevant.
